Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of tech giant G42, recently met with Tesla founder and X owner, Elon Musk, for high-level talks on artificial intelligence and technology.
The meeting was part of Sheikh Tahnoon’s visit to the US, where he is accompanying President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on a crucial delegation aimed at strengthening international partnerships.

During the talks, Sheikh Tahnoon highlighted the shared vision between the UAE and Musk, focused on accelerating advancements in AI and leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Their conversation touched on optimizing resources and unlocking new opportunities that AI offers for global progress.
Shortly after, Sheikh Tahnoon posted about meeting Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, where they explored opportunities for collaboration.
The tech enthusiast has been at the forefront of promoting the UAE’s technological ambitions, with G42 making waves in AI development and data analytics. The company recently secured a $1.5 billion investment from Microsoft to fuel its AI initiatives and also partnered with Nvidia to harness AI technology for improving global weather forecasts through the Earth-2 project.
Earlier this week, Sheikh Tahnoon was also featured on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in AI list.
