RLNG prices for August increase to $ 14.0/mmbtu

RLNG prices for August have risen by 3.2% month-on-month to $14.0/mmbtu despite a decline in the average Brent price to $83.26/bbl from $84.94/bbl in July.

This month, Pakistan State Oil is set to import a total of 10 cargoes — six at a slope of 13.37% and four at a slope of 10.20%.

In contrast, last month PSO imported four cargoes at 13.37% and six at 10.20%.

The increase in RLNG prices is primarily due to the higher number of cargoes being imported at the higher slope this month.

Meanwhile, Pakistan LNG will continue to import just one cargo, as it did last month.

Overall, the country will import 11 cargoes in August compared to 10 in the same month last year.
