Remembering Ratan Tata: A legacy of leadership and philanthropy

For generations, the names “Tata and Birla” have symbolized integrity and entrepreneurship in the subcontinent.

With a legacy spanning over 30 companies and a market cap exceeding Pakistan’s GDP, the Tata Group generated US $165 billion last year alone. Ratan Tata, known for his humility and commitment to philanthropy, transformed the US $365 billion empire into a global force for good.

A graduate of Cornell University, he returned to India in 1962, working alongside employees in blue-collar uniforms and ensuring profits supported charitable endeavors through Tata Trusts.

As we mourn his loss, we celebrate a man whose contributions will inspire generations to come.
