Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have successfully wrapped up their joint military exercise, Al Battar-II, which ran from November 18 to 26 in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, focusing on counter-terrorism operations.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise involved combat units from Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) and the Saudi Arabian Army, aiming to enhance operational coordination and tactical interoperability between the two forces.

The closing ceremony on November 26 was attended by Pakistan’s General Officer Commanding SSG as chief guest, alongside senior military officials from the Saudi Army.

During the exercise, troops carried out urban combat drills, countered improvised explosive devices, and participated in integrated tactical training modules, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and operational readiness.

Al Battar-II met all its training objectives and strengthened joint counter-terrorism capabilities. The exercise also reinforced long-standing defense cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Officials said the successful completion of Al Battar-II reflects the two countries’ shared commitment to regional stability, security, and collaborative military preparedness.
