Gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly on Tuesday in line with international trends. In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by PKR 7,000 ($25), bringing it down to PKR 270,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by PKR 6,000 to PKR 231,911, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In last two sessions, local gold prices have declined by PKR 8,300 per tola. International gold prices are hovering around one-month low of $2,597 per ouonce.

On October 30, gold reached an all-time high of PKR 287,900 per tola in Pakistan. The international gold price also hit an all-time high of $2,784 per ounce.
