What’s next after PIA privatization?

In a landmark development, the government has completed the long-delayed privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), ending years of failed attempts.

Khurram Schehzad, advisor to the finance minister, remarked that the move is a significant step toward restoring investor confidence, noting that interest from potential buyers is already materializing.

He added that the Roosevelt Hotel, three airports, and the House Building Finance Corporation are next on the privatization agenda.
