Former Pakistan Weightlifting Federation vice-president Rashed Malik believes weightlifters Nooh Butt and Talha Talib have the potential to excel at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, provided they receive proper training facilities and world-class coaching.

In an exclusive interview with Nukta, Malik said the duo’s talent is undeniable, but success on the global stage will depend on sustained support, improved infrastructure and access to international-standard preparation.
